In 2018 I chaperoned a student trip to Kenya to stay at an orphan care center in Kakamega, and it was an experience that is truly hard to describe with words. Getting to know these wonderful children and their caregivers was an astoundingly rewarding experience, and thus I use what I captured through my lens to relay the feel of it rather than trying to do it verbally.
